Awesome views and great location an ideal spot for a cocktail or beer. Food was subpar. I recommend the unlimited salad bar as far as being a good deal with fresh food. My boyfriend got the country fried steak and it was blehhh with weird gravy.

The food at the restaurant was decent but nothing special. It's the only hot meal you'll get out here. There is a bar which sells wine and cocktails including beer from the big bend brewing company. The rooms were definitely dated and beds kinda uncomfortable, but again only air conditioned lodging out here. No wifi besides at the gift shop. No cellular service as well.

Home base for the traveler seeking the comforts of home. Cabins and rooms available with reservations. Restaurant offers filling meals that feature flavorful fresh and prepared food. Bar is adjacent to the restaurant. Staff is attentive and helpful.

Nice dinner at reasonable prices. Fifteen minutes into the dinner service all tables were full. It seems that the menu changes about once a year.

Stopped in to have breakfast. Staff was cheerful and quick to get you seated. The views were so great, that spending time over breakfast just to take in the beauty of it all. Food was just ok. The surrounding's made up for the ok meal. Did not stay at the hotel, but it looked nice.

Besides all that, the views are phenomenal. The "window" is beautiful especially at sunset. The two prominent peaks you can see are quite impressive. There are a ton of hiking options depending on your capabilities. Definitely worth coming out especially if you're into hiking and such. Weather was pleasant in late September.
